ECOMOL
A high-contrast paper developer for producing images ranging from neutral black to cool black.

An alternative to Tetenal’s DOKUMOL, which is no longer manufactured.
Unlike DOKUMOL, ECOMOL does not contain hydroquinone and is therefore classified as safe for human health. With identical filtering, dilution and development times, the tonal values are comparable; the increase in contrast compared to other developers is between half a gradation step and a maximum of one gradation step.
Suitable for thin negatives requiring a filter rating of around 5, or as a high-performance primary developer, followed by a standard developer such as MERITOL, SE1 SEPIA or ECO 4812.
