Description
The effect of this additive is very much dependent on the type of paper used. Even with a dilution of 1+4 it should be dosed sparingly.
A coarsening of the image grain in the shadows is noticeable with almost all papers. Some papers initially only react with a change in image tone, only at higher doses with accentuated grain, with warm tone papers the effect is less pronounced. In case of overdosage, the colourfulness of the lith prints is suppressed and the maximum blackening is increased.
